Dark and White Chocolate Cookies

Who can say no to a chocolate cookie? Add fresh fruit and nuts to make it even more special! These cookies have Ø10 cm, are very easy and quick to make and leave an amazing smell in the air when baked.


For 7 cookies: 50 gr plain flour - 50 gr sugar - 50 gr brown sugar - 50 gr salted butter - 1 egg - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract - 1 pinch of cinnamon powder - 1/2 pinch of nutmeg


For the topping (as needed): black and white chocolate, cut into cubes - strawberries, cut into cubes - grated coconut - hazelnuts, cut in half - cherries, cut in half - chilli, sliced


Preheat the oven to 180º C. Mix all the ingredients together until you get a smooth dough. On a tray, mold 7 balls and press them (you don't need to butter the tray because the dough has enough butter). Leave some space between the cookies because they expand in diameter. Now use your imagination! These are my creations: white chocolate and cherries; white chocolate, cherries and coconut; dark chocolate and strawberries; dark chocolate, strawberries and hazelnuts; dark chocolate, strawberries and chilli.

Put the tray into the oven and rise the temperature up to 200ºC. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove the cookies from the tray with a spatula and reserve.
